Dear colleagues,
It is an honor to serve as your new President. I’m deeply grateful for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to safe, high-quality care for the older adults. Together, we will continue strengthening our practice, supporting one another, and advancing the standards that our patients and communities deserve. Our shared aim in the years ahead is to support gerontological development—through learning, innovation, and evidence-based improvement—while ensuring comprehensive, dignified, and patient-centered care for older adults. As a college, our work will focus on three key directions:
- Quality gerontological education and professional development for our members.
- Improving elderly care through evidence-based practice, innovation, and clinical standards.
- Strengthening collaboration and outreach to support older adults, families, and the wider community.
I look forward to listening, collaborating, and working with you as we build a stronger future for older adults and the nursing professionals who care for them.

致親愛的會員：
全球人口正邁向老齡化，香港長者人口持續增長。根據2022 年香港政府統計處公佈的香港人口趨勢：65 歲及以上人士的比例從 1991 年的 8.9% 持後上升至2021 年的 20.5%。長者曾對香港社會貢獻良多。保持他們身心健康安享人生下半場是我們護士的責任。
本人擔任香港老年學會護理專科學院主席一職，感到十分榮幸，多謝各位委員的支持，更希望各位委員把累積多年的專科經驗及智慧薪火相傳，以作提升長者醫療服務水平，提高長者健康知識及生活質素，令長者享受多姿多彩的黃金歲月。
